For the past five years I have taught roughly 40 students a week, teaching beginning children to experienced adults, covering many styles and skill levels. I encourage proficiency in reading, theory, technique, and ear training. These skills are applied to music styles that the student wants to learn.
These are not "cookie cutter" guitar lessons. Each student is unique. Each student learns at a different pace, has different tastes, and different goals. I have an immense library of teaching material and songbooks covering every genre imaginable, and I regularly transcribe songs the students choose to learn. I truly enjoy teaching and I keep the lessons fun and relaxed.
I am currently teaching Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in Troy, NY, and Tuesdays at the Rhythm Section music store in Scotia, NY.
